Note, to add a MFSW to a Non MFSW T5 this takes approx 6-7 hours.

 upgrade from existing MFSW or as a complete fitment from standard steering wheel.

solution to this issue and will update this page when applicable.
This currently effects all pre-2010/2011 models and T5.1. If unsure please email us for confirmation.
Most Golf Mk5 Models even if fitted with a MFSW from factory may require a new steering
control module to allow button functions with the Mk7 Wheel, this needs to be physically checked,
 if required additional 

Please note: applies to T5 7H models only (2004-2009), the buttons will operate as follows;
 Left side: volume control, next track, previous track, answer phone, hang up phone,
telephone volume and mute will work. The telephone function requires a headunit with Bluetooth
or a Genuine Vw Bluetooth kit installed. Unfortunately the right side buttons will not control the
DIS function and therefore will not operate anything, a separate DIS stalk is required for this operation.
