This unit offers faster system operation with higher resolution display better sound processing and amplification over the previous generation RNS 510. It integrates with existing genuine equipment including Reverse Cameras, Optical Parking Sensors, Highline Instrument Clusters and Multifunction Steering Wheels see notes.

Bluetooth
It comes with built in Bluetooth  which supports audio streaming with next rack/previous track, play and pause functions from the vehicle controls. It allows you to read and respond to text messages from the system
screen and displays via compatible Highline Instrument Clusters for operation via multifunction steering wheel. 

Smartphone Interface
This unit comes with the Volkswagen Smartphone Interface which enables Apple CarPlay and Android Auto 
this allows you to mirror supported Apps to the system from your smartphone when connected via the supplied and fitted USB socket as part of the installation. more information about these can be found in the following links,

Navigation
The unit comes with the latest Maps for Europe and is supplied with a Genuine SD card that is updateable Free of Charge via the Volkswagen official website. again the system integrates with the highline instrument cluster to give the dual display functionality for navigation directions or it is also possible to use Google Maps or other App based navigation from the main screen via the Smartphone Interface.

Media
This unit is the DAB+ version, HazzyDayz will upgrade the existing vehicle antennas using discreetly mounted Genuine Signal Boosters to enable DAB+ reception to the same standard as factory fitted without the need for aftermarket antennas stuck to the windscreen as part of the installation. The bluetooth audio streaming allows you to stream music from Apps such as Spotify, YouTube, Google Play Music, Apple Music etc with basic control via the Vehicles Controls (next track/previous track) wirelessly, connecting a smartphone to the Smartphone Interface USB will enable you to fully browse through supported App libraries such as spotify from the system screen.
The unit also has 2 SD card sockets capable of playing MP3s from SD with full control and file browsing from the system.

Voice Control
The system comes with SDS High which enables you to use voice commands to input navigation destinations dial numbers or contacts from the telephone or change radio station etc. 
It also allows to Access and control  Siri or Google Assistant using the vehicle controls when the Smartphone Interface is connected.
